NextPhone is an AI receptionist built for law firms and service businesses. It answers 24/7 or only after hours, qualifies callers, books appointments, and texts a summary after each call. You configure what it asks and when it routes a call to your team. All three plans run on flat monthly rates with no per-minute or overage charges.
NextPhone vs. GoodBibee Voice for a trade shop
NextPhone is general-purpose. GoodBibee Voice is built only for HVAC and plumbing contractors.
Built for: NextPhone names law firms and service businesses on its homepage; its demo is a personal-injury intake. GoodBibee Voice is HVAC and plumbing only. Who sets it up: NextPhone Pro is self-serve in five minutes; Growth and Scale are built by its team in days. GoodBibee Voice is done-for-you—no self-setup tier. Pricing model: NextPhone publishes three tiers at $199, $299, and $599. GoodBibee Voice has no setup fee and one flat monthly plan. Emergency call handling: NextPhone follows the script you write; its pages don't say whether it tags no-heat or burst-pipe urgency on its own. GoodBibee Voice asks trade-specific questions out of the box and tags urgency based on the answers. FSM integrations: NextPhone lists ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro under integrations; CRM updates are included on Growth and Scale, self-connected on Pro. GoodBibee Voice includes ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber integration—no tier to pick. Setup time: NextPhone says five minutes for Pro, days for Growth, longer for Scale. GoodBibee Voice setup is included; you approve the script before it goes live.

What NextPhone does on a call
NextPhone answers, greets the caller with your business name, asks what they need, captures their contact info, and books an appointment or transfers the call. After the call, it texts you a summary with the caller's name, number, and what they said.
The AI follows the script you configure. If you tell it to ask where the water is coming from on a plumbing call, it will. If you don't, it asks generic questions and writes down the caller's answer verbatim. Emergency triage depends on how you set it up—you can flag keywords and route those calls to a priority slot or an after-hours line.
NextPhone pricing: what each tier buys
Pro costs $199/month. You set it up yourself—write the script, configure the booking rules, connect your calendar, and test it. NextPhone says it takes five minutes to go live. That's accurate if your call flow is simple: answer, take a name and number, book an open slot.
It takes longer if you need plumbing-specific triage questions or HVAC furnace-vs-AC routing.
Growth costs $299/month. NextPhone's team builds your agent for you, tests it, tunes the voice and pacing, and sets up CRM updates. It goes live in days. You review the script before it launches. This tier is managed setup—you still approve the flow, but you don't write it.
Scale costs $599/month. You get custom call flows, custom routing logic, and custom integrations. If your shop runs on a CRM NextPhone doesn't natively support, its pages say its team builds a connector.
All three tiers include no setup fee, no per-minute charges, and no overage fees. A freeze night with 40 calls costs the same as a slow Tuesday with two. For a breakdown of what different AI receptionist tiers actually cost across multiple options, see that pricing comparison.
